I have been wearing Viva la Juicy by Juicy Couture for years now (and I mean years!) and although I still love it I’ve decided its time for a change. I’ve been on the hunt for quite some time now, below are some yummy scents I discovered and loved on my “sniffing spree”. (Fragrances are in no particular order)

3. Flower Bomb by Viktor & Rolf// A Flower Explosion

4.“1” from the Big Pony Fragrance Collection by Ralph Lauren// Daring & Delicious

5. “4” from the Big Pony Fragrance Collection by Ralph Laruen// Sporty & Fresh

6. BCBG Maxazria By Max Azria// Elegant & Luxurious

7. Chance Eau Tendre by Chanel// Fruity, Floral & Vibrant

CHARACTERISTICS AND THINGS I LIKE TO KEEP ON MY RADAR WHEN PURCHASING A NEW FRAGRANCE.

1. It’s Subtle. I don’t want anyone cringing their nose or getting a headache when I walk by. Even if a scent is a bit stronger you can avoid having people cringe by dabbing a little off or putting less on. It never hurts to do the walk by test with a friend or bf. 😉

2. It’s Sustainable. Something I will not get sick of. Ever! Yup, I have to like it that much!

3. It’s Recognizable. I’ve realized that I love to be recognized by a particular scent…”when people smell it they think of me.” This of course happens over time as a result of wearing it consistently. Keeping in mind that theres no need to be precious of your scent (I’m guilty of this!) Scents take on different effects when they mix with the oils in your skin. Rest easy it will most likely smell subtly different from person to person. This also is a great justification for copying someone’s scent guilt-free. Not that you should feel guilty in the first place. Moving on…

4. The Bottle Design. Just being honest…even if I liked the scent and I hated the bottle design, I probably wouldn’t purchase it!

5. The Price. I like to be $$ conscious, (I know a few people that might doubt that statement, but really guys I promise!) Anyhow, I don’t mind spending a bit more on a fragrance I really like as it lasts FOREVER! I think my last Viva La Juicy lasted about 4 years if not more and I wore it almost everyday, sometimes even twice. A fragrance is an investment & smelling good is worth it!

Which one do YOU think I should get?

Right now I’m leaning towards purchasing Chanel “Chance” and I think eventually once I can afford the luxury of having more than one scent I might get adventurous and buy a couple of them, “Juicy” my old faithful will most definitely be on that list.
